Van slams Saskatoon building, injuring two inside, one critically

SASKATOON — A 32-year-old woman has serious, life-threatening injuries after a mini van drove through the wall of the Saskatoon store where she was shopping.

A statement from Saskatoon police says it happened shortly after noon on Tuesday in the Sutherland neighbourhood.

A 35-year-old woman working in the store was also suffered minor injuries.

The 31-year-old man driving the mini van was not hurt.

A 10-year-old child in the vehicle was also uninjured.

The police statement says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
