SJHL teams can return to ice, fans must wear masks while in arena

EAST CENTRAL — The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League said they have received the go-ahead from the province to return to the ice, effective immediately.

"Stay tuned Broncos fans," said the Humboldt Broncos over Twitter. "This is the news we’ve all been waiting for."

The league said that teams will be allowed to admit up to 150 fans to be in attendance, with those fans required to wear face masks while in the arena.

"Teams are scheduling exhibition games to be played between now and Nov. 1," the SJHL said in a statement. "Exhibition schedule will be released as soon as possible."
