MELFORT — The Melfort Mustangs have won another semifinal victory on home ice.
In the second game of the semifinals against the Estevan Bruins, the Mustangs won 3-1.
The first period was quiet, with both teams making seven shots but not getting them past the goalies.
Estevan's Jayden Davis drew first blood a little more than five minutes into the second period, but was quickly answered 15 seconds later with a goal from Melfort's Tanner Zentner.
In the third, Carson Albrecht and Nolan Kadachuk of the Mustangs scored, creating a sizeable lead for their team.
