MELFORT — The Melfort Mustangs have announced they are postponing two games against the Battlefords North Stars due to a COVID-19 exposure.
The games were planned for Friday, Nov. 27 in Melfort and Saturday, Nov. 28 in North Battleford.
“The player in question has been isolated and the organization is following all direct protocols from the health authorities,” said a release from the team.
“The Saturday, Nov. 21 game between Melfort and La Ronge was also postponed due to the same COVID-19 exposure.”
Hockey activities are expected to resume on Sunday, Nov. 29.
The Mustangs said they cannot provide more details to protect the privacy of the player.
