HUMBOLDT — Mike Herperger of Humboldt and Drew Dale of LeRoy were the champions of this year’s Father’s Day Tournament at the Humboldt Golf Club.
The pair, who won the Charles and Edward Weninger Memorial Trophy, had a two-day total of 130 (–14).
The tournament, while June 15 and 16, saw 122 players making up 61 two-man teams.
“[They] slogged through Saturday’s rain to post qualifying scores and then enjoyed Sunday’s better weather during flighted competition,” the golf club said in a media release.
The lowest father-son team, winning the Norm Angelstad Plaque, was Chris and Ken Burton of Yorkton with a score of 138 (–6).
