Man in hospital after being stabbed in the chest at Saskatoon hotel: police

SASKATOON — Police in Saskatoon say a man was stabbed in the chest at a hotel Monday morning.

They say the man was sent to hospital after police responded to the scene just before 9 a.m.

Police say the man is in stable condition.

They say a suspect has been arrested and is in police custody.

Police say the suspect had also been treated for minor injuries, but did say how he or she got hurt.

Investigators did not say if the victim and suspect know each other.
