Merry Christmas on behalf of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Humboldt!

This is a time when we as Christians celebrate with joy and gladness what we believe was the greatest gift that God has ever given to mankind which was through the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His example of love and self-sacrifice is something we try to emulate to those who are in need, especially during this time of year.

This season we are currently undergoing a project in collaboration with the St. Andrews Anglican Church through the Purple Door Ministries called Purple Hugs. We want to make sure that we gave give as many people as we can in Humboldt and in our neighboring communities the opportunity to experience an even warmer holiday.

We are collecting winter accessories such as winter hats, scarfs, gloves, socks, blankets etc. for those who are in need in. We want to thank local establishments such as Pharmasave, Brickhouse Clothing, Fields, Tweed, the Uniplex Curling Rink, St. Andrews Anglican Church, Quill Lake SDA Church and the Muenster Post Office for their help.

These organizations are all accepting contributions of preferably newly purchased items or fairly used winter accessories for us. I encourage you to join us on our quest by dropping off your gifts at any of these locations if you can. Thank you for help and your love! May God bless you and your families this year!
