HUMBOLDT — A classroom at Humboldt's St. Augustine School will switch to online learning after health officials informed Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools of another individual diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the division on Nov. 13.

“We are working with Public Health to notify parents and caregivers,” said a statement from the division. “Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.”

The identified classroom will switch to online learning starting Monday, Nov. 16.

A day later, on Nov. 14, the health authority informed the division of another COVID-19 case. The division said in-school learning will continue as scheduled for the classroom affected by that case.

The division said it will not share or discuss details so it can protect the privacy of individuals.

The two cases are in addition to the one diagnosed last week.
