TISDALE — The Tisdale RCMP stopped a household break-in in action.

On Aug. 4, the detachment received a call about a possible break-and-enter at a Tisdale residence.

The household residents weren’t home at the time of call.

“Members attended and located two subjects at the scene,” said Cpl. Mike Benjamin, with the detachment. “They were taken into custody, processed and are being held for court, which was held here on Tuesday. Now it’s before the courts.”

Nothing was taken from the home.

“It’s good to get them in the act,” Benjamin said.

From the month of July 8 to Aug. 8, the Tisdale detachment of the RCMP dealt with 189 calls for service. This includes three break-and-enters, two assaults, two dangerous driving files, six complaints of fraud, six impaired drivers which include calls, and nine collisions.
