State memorial service to be held for The Honourable W. Thomas Molloy

A state memorial service is planned to recognize and honour the contributions made by Saskatchewan’s 22nd Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable W. Thomas Molloy, throughout his public service and professional career.

A state memorial service is planned to recognize and honour the contributions made by Saskatchewan’s 22nd Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable W. Thomas Molloy, throughout his public service and professional career.

The public is invited to attend the service, which will take place on Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m. at Merlis Belsher Place, 2010 College Drive, Saskatoon. Doors will open at 12:15 p.m.

Members of the public wishing to express condolences to Molloy’s family may do so by signing a book of condolence at the Legislative Building or Government House in Regina, or at City Hall in Saskatoon. Online condolences can be sent through the official website of the Lieutenant Governor’s Office at www.ltgov.sk.ca.

Molloy was installed as Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan on March 21, 2018. He died July 2, 2019 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
