HUMBOLDT — KMK Sales Ltd is asking for public assistance after a green and black 2019 ZR SNO Pro was stolen from their property.
The theft occurred between the night of Oct. 31 and the morning of Nov. 1.
Jerry Kopp, owner of KMK Sales Ltd, believes the thieves backed up to the fence which covered that area of the compound, attached a hook and then pulled off the section of fence.
The thieves then broke into the wooden crate that the vehicle was stored in, connected the skis to the vehicle, loaded it on and drove away.
The skis were discovered on the road by a community member who then brought them back to the store.
“They found the skis lying on the road and brought them over here first thing in the morning,” Kopp said.
At this point Kopp went over to the compound and found the vandalized area and missing SNO Pro.
The manufacturer's suggested retail price on the snowmobile is $15,699. The vehicle’s serial number is 4UF19SNW8KT102398.
KMK Sales Ltd is asking the public that if they have information to contact the Humboldt RCMP. The Humboldt RCMP can be reached at (306) 682-2535 and the Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers can be reached at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
“It probably would be nice if everyone can keep their eyes open for a black and green newer sled, but they’re going to have it hidden — guaranteed.”
