FOAM LAKE — There has been a collision between a semi-truck and a train on Highway 16 three miles west of Foam Lake.
The Wadena RCMP along with Canadian Pacific Police and Foam Lake Fire Department are at the scene.
Traffic travelling along Highway 16 will be detoured around the scene of the collision.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible and follow directions given by officers at the scene for detour information.
UPDATE: A 65-year-old man from Maidstone was killed as a result of the collision.
