HUMBOLDT — The Horizon School Division said it has been made aware of a second COVID-19 diagnosis within a week at Humboldt Collegiate Institute.

The division said it was made aware of the diagnosis on April 6. The previous diagnosis was announced March 30.

"Families at the school are being informed, and we are working closely with our excellent partners in Public Health to assist in the contact tracing process," the division said on Facebook. "At this time, Humboldt Collegiate Institute remains open to students and staff following the Easter Break, unless families have been directed otherwise."

The division said it will not provide any more information to protect the privacy of the those involved.
