HUMBOLDT — After delays related to permits, the quonset located beside division’s central office will be moved by the end of the month.
“We understand that it will be moved by June 23, which will allow us the opportunity then to continue our work to [convert the space] into a parking lot,” said Kevin Garinger, the division's director of education.
The division put the quonset up for bid last year, with Brockman Enterprises winning the building. The original goal was to have it moved by March.
During the division's June 12 meeting, Garinger told the board of education the building needed to be moved soon so work would be complete in time for the central office’s official grand opening in the fall.
