When a farmer came into a contact with a piece of wire attached to a transmission structure, it caused a short, shutting power down in and around Humboldt.
SaskPower said the piece of wire was not a power line.
The Oct. 20 incident caused an outage in Humboldt, Annaheim, Bruno, Drake, Lanigan, Middle Lake and surrounding communities at around 4:40 pm. Power was restored at 5:07 pm after SaskPower made a temporary fix.
Crews were at the site Oct. 22 to permanently fix the problem.
