Possible COVID-19 exposure at three Nipawin businesses on Oct. 9

NIPAWIN — A person or persons infected with COVID-19 visited three Nipawin businesses while they were likely infectious. The businesses include: Kingfisher Inn, 1203 Eighth Street West, on Oct. 9 from 8 p.m.

NIPAWIN — A person or persons infected with COVID-19 visited three Nipawin businesses while they were likely infectious.

The businesses include:

  • Kingfisher Inn, 1203 Eighth Street West, on Oct. 9 from 8 p.m. to overnight
  • Cooney’s on First, 101 First Street West, on Oct. 9 from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • River Inn, 105 Centre Street, on Oct. 9 from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Public health officials are advising people who were at these locations on the specified dates during the specified times to self-monitor for 14 days. If you have had or develop symptoms of COVID-19, immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your physician or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
