HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt RCMP is now considering the disappearance of a 20-year-old Humboldt man to be suspicious.

RCMP Major Crimes Unit has now assumed responsibility for the investigation.

The investigation has led RCMP officers to believe that Allan Douglas Garrioch (also known to use the last name of Glasier) did not willing leave his residence on Feb. 25 at approximately 3 a.m., but may have been directed or forced to accompany the three unknown men after an altercation within his residence.

Garrioch has not been in contact with any of his family or friends since he was last seen during the early morning hours of Feb. 25, which is completely out of character for him. Investigators are treating this matter as suspicious given the circumstances involved.

Garriochis described as approximately 5’8” tall, slim build, with blue eyes and hair.

Those with any information about the whereabouts or wellbeing of Garrioch they are requested to call the Humboldt RCMP at 306-682-2535.  Information can also be submitted anonymously to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submitting a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
