One dead, two injured from single vehicle rollover near Tisdale

TISDALE — One man is dead and two men are injured after a single vehicle rollover three kilometres south of Tisdale

Tisdale and Melfort RCMP, Tisdale Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services were on the scene at 9:25 pm on July 11.

The driver of the vehicle, a 38-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Tisdale and succumbed to his injuries. One male passenger, age 31, was transported by STARS Air Ambulance while the second passenger, a 32-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Saskatoon where both are being treated for injuries.

Police said they will not release the name of the deceased.

The RCMP closed the highway for an extended period of time to investigate the scene. They set up a detour. The highway is now reopened.
