Memorial service to mark anniversary of Humboldt Broncos crash planned

HUMBOLDT — Preparations are underway to mark the first anniversary of the Humboldt Broncos crash.

The first anniversary memorial service has been tentatively scheduled for late afternoon on April 6 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

“In addition to making plans to accommodate attendees at the Elgar Petersen Arena, the organizers are planning to ensure this service of hope and remembrance can be viewed by everyone who has been affected,” said a release from the City of Humboldt.

The memorial is being organized by the City of Humboldt, representatives of the 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos families, the Humboldt Broncos organization and the Humboldt Ministerial Association.
