May 26 local COVID-19 report: Walk-in vaccination clinic in Melfort tomorrow

A walk-in COVID-19 clinic will be taking place in Melfort tomorrow. The clinic takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 27 at the Kerry Vickar Centre. The vaccine used is Moderna.

A walk-in COVID-19 clinic will be taking place in Melfort tomorrow.

The clinic takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 27 at the Kerry Vickar Centre. The vaccine used is Moderna.

As of May 26, those 12 and older will be eligible for their first dose of a vaccine. The Saskatchewan Health Authority said only Pfizer vaccine has been approved for use for those aged 12 to 17.

Eligible for second doses are people 80 and older, those who have had their first dose before March 1, those diagnosed with or being treated for cancer (who will receive a letter of confirmation), and those who have received solid organ transplants (who will receive a letter of confirmation).
