Mark of Excellence nominees revealed

HUMBOLDT — The nominees for the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce’s Mark of Excellence awards has been revealed. The nominees will be judged by the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be revealed at a ceremony March 20.

HUMBOLDT — The nominees for the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce’s Mark of Excellence awards has been revealed.

The nominees will be judged by the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be revealed at a ceremony March 20.

In the two newest categories, Peavey Mart, Sarcan and Sobey’s were nominated for an inclusive employer award, while Futuristic Industries was the only nominee for the safety leadership award.

The Humboldt SPCA and the Westminster United Church were nominated for a community merit award.

Nominated for a community involvement award are 107.5 Bolt FM, Johnny’s Bistro, and Spotlight Sport & Corporate Wear.

Boston Pizza, and Telos Massage and Wellness are in the running for an entrepreneur award

The marketing award could go to Anytime Fitness, or Spotlight Sport & Corporate Wear.

There were many nominees for the service award. Those nominated were Branding Barn, Clip Snip Cozy, Dzinehaus Computers Inc., Humboldt Co-op C-Store, Humboldt Dairy Queen and Muenster Powder Coating.

Bolt Cleaners, Diamonds of Detroit, Humboldt, Smiles Nixon Electric and Tremblay Electric were nominated for a growth and expansion award.

The new business venture award nominees were Pet Value and The Elizabeth.
