The Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce is showing their appreciation for their old and new sponsors with their Campground and Mini Golf Appreciation Day on Aug. 8.
They have received great support from staff, sponsors, and the public and this is a way to say thank you, says chamber executive director, Stacey Poss.
The mini golf course at the chamber information centre is getting a face lift with new signage for many of the businesses, new carpet for many of the holes, and new sponsors coming in to leave their mark on the course, says Poss. New hole sponsors include
Diamonds of Detroit, Delwood Spray Foam, and Lube Stop.
Also included in the upgrades to the campgrounds has been CN refurbishing the onsite caboose, as well as staff assisting with improving the green space.
Mini-golf will be half off all day to give everyone a chance to see the latest upgrades.
Humboldt and area businesses will also have an opportunity to continue sponsoring the campgrounds through new fire pits that the chamber will be bringing in for the campsites.
Poss and the rest of the chamber and campground staff will have a chance to thank everyone with a public presentation at 4:30 p.m.
