Circus of thrills coming to Humboldt

Humboldt has been added to the Great Benjamin Circus tour list with two shows on Aug. 21 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

Louis Leonard with the circus says he expects a lot of smiles in the crowd as 26 performers hit the ring to perform death defying stunts.

The show is built on thrills, he says, with the Globe of Death; a metal sphere with a motorcycle driving inside, the Wheel of Destiny with people inside doing gymnastics tricks both inside and outside the wheel, and the Russian swings featuring people flying through the air while performing tricks. Classic circus acts featuring jugglers, clowns, acrobats, and trapeze artists will also be there.

All ages are welcome to the family friendly event with Leonard expecting people on the edge of their seats for the duration of the show.
