LeRoy pedestrians robbed at gunpoint, RCMP looking for man and truck

LEROY — Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are asking for the public's help after two men walking on the 100 block of LeRoy's First Avenue were robbed at gunpoint. The two pedestrians were approached by a black Ford F350 truck during the evening of June 28.

LEROY — Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are asking for the public's help after two men walking on the 100 block of LeRoy's First Avenue were robbed at gunpoint.

The two pedestrians were approached by a black Ford F350 truck during the evening of June 28. One of the men from the truck exited and approached the victims, demanding they give him items they were carrying. A second man in the suspect truck brandished a firearm during this offence.

Police said they believe there were several people in the suspect truck at this time. The suspects made off with some goods, and no one was injured during this incident.

The man that exited the truck and approached the victims on foot is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • mid 30’s
  • approximately 5’10” tall, medium to stocky build
  • dirty blond hair, shorter than collar length.

The truck is described as:

  • Black 2008-10 Ford F350 truck
  • Blue LED headlights
  • Dirty appearance and no licence plate

The truck left LeRoy eastbound. RCMP are seeking public assistance. Those that saw this suspect truck in the LeRoy or surrounding area around the time of this offence, or witnessed anything in regards to this, are asked to contact the Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
