CUDWORTH — The Horizon School Division is reporting it was made aware of a COVID-19 diagnosis in an individual at Cudworth School on Oct. 30.

“Families at Cudworth School are being informed of this case, and we are working closely with our excellent partners in Public Health to assist in the contact tracing process,” said a release from the division. “Public Health will be reaching out to the individuals who they determine to be close contacts, and we want to help by providing them with the time they need to work through their case investigation.”

The division said they are expecting Cudworth School to be open to students on Monday, Nov. 2.

“Working with our partners in Primary Health, we have co-ordinated a voluntary COVID-19 testing site for students, staff, and family members to access at Cudworth School on Monday, Nov. 2,” the division said. “Information regarding this voluntary testing site is being shared with Cudworth staff and families.”

Further details about the infection cannot be provided to maintain the privacy of the individuals involved, the division said.
