Humboldt firefighers respond to burning car

HUMBOLDT — Thirteen Humboldt firefighters responded to a large car fire in the Northview Manor parking lot.

The Humboldt Fire Department attended the scene at 1 a.m. on Oct. 11.

“It was a complete, total loss on that vehicle, as well as probably a second vehicle that was impacted as well,” said Mike Kwasnica, the department’s fire chief.

“The fire was quickly brought under control. We were back at the hall by about 2:30 a.m., quarter after 2.”

The cause of the fire is unknown. The fire department and the Humboldt RCMP are investigating.
