ENGLEFELD — The older classes at Englefeld School will be learning from home for a week after the Horizon School Division was made aware of two COVID-19 diagnoses.
The division was made aware April 18.
“Out of an abundance of care and concern, and considering operational feasibility, we have determined that Grade 7-12 classrooms at Englefeld School will move to Learning from Home for the period of Monday, April 19 to Monday, April 26, inclusive,” a release from the division said.
“It has been deemed safe for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students and staff to continue in-class learning.”
The division said it will not reveal any more details to protect the privacy of those involved.
