Garbage illegally dumped near Pleasantdale

PLEASANTDALE — A pile of illegal garbage dumped two miles south of Pleasantdale on McPhail Road has Melfort conservation officers asking for the public's help.

The garbage is made up of household materials such as old bed box frames and mattresses as well as items from a renovation or demolition.

Conservation officers found out about the mess on June 27.

Those with any information can call the toll-free Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment Turn In Poachers Line 1-800-667-7561 or #5555 from a Sasktel cellphone (phone calls only, no text messages). They can also report online at saskatchewan.ca/tip.
