HUDSON BAY — One man is dead after a collision between a SUV and a car on Highway 9 in Hudson Bay.
On the evening of May 2, a southbound car crossed into the northbound lane and struck a northbound SUV.
The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to Hudson Bay Hospital and was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the SUV, a 61-year-old-woman, suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital.
Hudson Bay RCMP, Hudson Bay Ambulance and Hudson Bay Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene at around 8:40 pm.
Police said the family of the deceased man has been notified and that the collision is still under investigation.
