WAKAW — A COVID-19 diagnosis has been made in an individual at Wakaw School.
The Horizon School Division said they were made aware of the diagnosis on Nov. 18.
“Families at Wakaw School are being informed of this case, and we are working closely with our excellent partners in Public Health to assist in the contact tracing process,” said a statement from the division. “Public Health will be reaching out to individuals who they determine to be close contacts.”
At this time, the division said it has been determined that Wakaw School can remain open to all students, PreK-12.
Horizon said it cannot provide further details to maintain the privacy of the individual involved.
