HUMBOLDT — A case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed in an individual at Humboldt's St. Augustine School.

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools said they were informed by health officials on Nov. 7.

“The SHA [Saskatchewan Health Authority] is conducting contact tracing, and we are working with Public Health to notify parents and caregivers,” said a statement from the school division.

“Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low. Classes will continue as scheduled.”

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools said they will not share any more details to protect the privacy of the person affected.

“We hope all who are ill or affected by COVID-19 in any way are doing well. As a community of faith, we continue to support each other and pray for all members of our school communities who are ill.”
