BRUNO — The Bruno Post Office was broken into and items stolen.
Humboldt RCMP said they received a complaint about the crime for a local business on Sept. 10. Canada Post confirmed they were the ones affected.
“We are committed to doing everything possible to support the police in their efforts to stopping those who committed these crimes,” the postal agency said in a statement to the Humboldt Journal.
Canada Post said those who believe they have not received a specific piece of mail should contact the sender, who may then initiate a claim with Canada Post Customer Service at 1-800-267-1177.
This is not the first time the Bruno Post Office has been affected. There was a similar incident during the overnight hours of Dec. 7 and 8, 2018.
Those with any information are asked to contact the Humboldt RCMP or contact Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
