In a news release the town of Battleford states it will not be disconnecting water services during the Saskatchewan Government’s State of Emergency.

According to the town, utility bills will be mailed/emailed at the end of April. All utility accounts must be brought up to current status after the  State of Emergency, or customers must establish a payment plan to clear the arrears.

For those who signed up to WIPPs regular payments will continue to be withdrawn, but our account will be cancelled should there be insufficient funds to cover the payments and additional service charges may apply.

For those in economic distress concerned about your April utility billing, contact the Utility Clerk at 306-937-6200 to arrange a payment plan. For more information refer to the Town’s website at www.battleford.ca.
