What could be better than reading J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

How about watching Harry Potter himself read the whimsical tale? 

Daniel Radcliffe will join a lineup of celebrities in a series of Harry Potter readings hosted by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. 

On Tuesday, May 5, the Wizarding World Team announced that friends of the Wizarding World are going to read all seventeen chapters of the first book in the epic Harry Potter series. From athletes to musicians to actors, the contributors will record live videos of themselves reading the book, which will be also be available via Spotify. 

For the first reading, Daniel Radcliffe reads the introductory chapter of the book, "The Boy who Lived," and, "introduces the Dursleys, who don’t like anything mysterious."

The Wizarding World notes that fan artwork will be interspersed during Radcliffe's reading, and that wizarding enthusiasts can also see their pieces featured alongside guest narrators in future readings. 

"According to our incredible mathematics skills, you have sixteen chapters remaining of Philosopher’s Stone/Sorcerer’s Stone to work with – so please do send in your artistic interpretations of key scenes," reads the description.

The star-studded lineup of guest narrators includes Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim, Noma Dumezweni, and Eddie Redmayne.

Of course, there will be, "more surprises and special appearances from across the Wizarding World and beyond to come."
