TISDALE — The Tisdale Lion Ls and the Cornerstone Credit Union held a presentation, celebrating the Tisdale Lions Spray Park’s new structures.

Over the past decade the Tisdale Lions and Lion Ls have worked on improving the conditions of the park, including replacing old and unsafe equipment and adding more modern structures.

In the summer of 2019, the Tisdale Lion’s Spray Park received a face lift this summer with the help of a $10,000 donation from Cornerstone Credit Union’s major community investment program, Project Cornerstone. This entailed a “spaced pod dome climber” and “spider net.”

The $10,000 donation was presented to the Lion Ls late in 2018 to provide equipment upgrades geared towards the children in the community, with the equipment being installed in May of this year. This led to the presentation on Nov. 15, with the completed structure.

“Having the opportunity to provide the Lion Ls with a $10,000 donation in 2018 and seeing the results of this community investment and the impact it will have on the future of this community is great to see,” said Lori Walsh, vice president of marketing and communications with the Credit Union.

The Tisdale Lions Spray Park was created in 1995.
