HUMBOLDT — Back in April 1979, Helen Prosak decorates Easter eggs in her home with a skillful hand in the traditional Ukrainian custom.
It takes at least three to four hours to decorate an egg, and can take up to 30 hours for a particularly colourful and detailed egg.
Prosak learned the custom as a young girl from her mother and continues the custom every year at this time.
