Marie Fafard

My name is Marie Fafard and I am an elementary teacher working at Al Ain Academy in the United Arab Emirates but I am originally from Saskatchewan.
 
When the news of the tragic accident involving the Humboldt Broncos appeared, many of our students wanted to show their support for the victims. We are an international school with students representing over forty different nationalities but everyone felt devastated by what we read. The students were invited to either wear a hockey jersey (we do have a few hockey players here in the desert) or the colour green to school today to show our support even though we are so far away.

We would like to pass on a message of condolence to all those involved and to let the families know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
