There needs to be something of a bit of a sincerest “national thank you !!” to the firefighters who responded to the bus crash.
If they are a volunteer fire department, $5 says, that none of them ever counted on being at such a horrific crash....especially one at this level.
Their work to rescue the living, and, helping with the dead-n-dying needs to be acknowledged, even if this is a paid fire department.
Undoubtedly, they are equally hurting in another way.
Lets hear who these special firefighters are, so, that Canada can properly thank them.

SJHL playoffs: I am not a hockey “parent” of any kind, but my thoughts go out to the other teams in the current playoffs (if the playoffs have not been suspended?). It must be just as hard for them to carry on. If I am not the first to have this idea, let me add my support to it: Complete the playoffs as best as can be done. and have the Broncos declared “Honorary SJHL Champions 2017-2018” in remembrance.
