Saskatchewan chiropractor charged after sex assault investigation

REGINA — A 45-year-old chiropractor practising in Regina has been charged following a sexual assault investigation.

RCMP say they received complaints earlier this month from two different women alleging inappropriate and unwanted advances during chiropractic treatments.

Police say the actions described could not be considered a necessary part of the treatment being sought.

The first woman's allegations cover a period between January 2012 to June 2016.

The second woman's complaints go back to between April and August of 2019

Dr. Ruben Adam Manz of Emerald Park, Sask., is charged with two counts of sexual assault and is to appear in court on Aug. 10.
