The 80th annual Santa Claus Days in Watson were held on December 3. The town played host to a variety of activities, from shopping specials in local businesses to crafts for the kids at the arena, during the event, which ran from December 2-3.

Nearly 600 run trails at Provincials in Middle Lake

The Saskatchewan High Schools Athletics Association Provincial Cross Country Championships took place at Lucien Lake Regional Park near Middle Lake on October 15. Almost 600 runners took part in the day-long Provincial competition.

Demolition of old hospital well underway

The slam of a wrecking ball belonging to Double R Demo sends portions of the former Humboldt District Hospital to the ground on October 6. Where once stood the back side of the former Humboldt District Hospital, there is now a pile of rubble, reminiscent of a war zone.
