Bruno hosts trade show

Creative Expressions

Bruno will come alive with a celebration of the handmade with the Creative Expressions event on July 7, hosted by Vickianne Caswell and 4 Paws Games and Publishing based out of Bruno.

The event is a way to celebrate regional and provincial business, with vendors coming from Regina and Saskatoon, as well as local business in Humboldt and area.

A total of 58 possible vendors will be out also showing off a wide variety of products from food and clothing items to arts and craft work, with 46 confirmed vendors as of June 29, says Caswell. Whether looking for items for men, women, or children, Caswell says they have everyone covered with something for everyone.

There will also be author readings, musical performances, and children activities throughout the day with many local artists coming from the Bruno area, including Wakaw and Humboldt.

The event will also support the Humboldt Food Bank with attendees entering for a chance to win door prizes with a donation of food or money to the local organization.

With all the local representation at the event, Caswell says, the celebration is bringing people together.

“It’s about celebrating and appreciating the arts and bringing people out together to see all the varieties and enjoy the day. I want it to be well known in Saskatchewan.”

And the event is becoming well known, says Caswell, with the possibility to expand next year’s event.

Currently, Caswell is still looking for volunteers to help out with the day while also expecting a lot of visitors to the event.
