Fire damage to semi trailer causes Highway 16 to close near Plunket, highway now open

PLUNKET — A semi trailer hauling lumber products incurred fire damage, closing Highway 16 near Plunket. Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP said at 11:55 p.m. on Aug. 19 Highway 16 was closed as emergency crews cleaned up the scene. As of 5:37 a.m. on Aug.

PLUNKET — A semi trailer hauling lumber products incurred fire damage, closing Highway 16 near Plunket.

Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP said at 11:55 p.m. on Aug. 19 Highway 16 was closed as emergency crews cleaned up the scene. As of 5:37 a.m. on Aug. 20, all lanes of the highway are now open.
