Taylor Bley always wanted to pursue a career in acting.

And right now, that path is looking brighter with Bley recently being featured in three commercials, one in Canada, one through a Canadian company that is featured online, and another featured on American television.

The Annaheim native is currently living in Vancouver and working with an agent to get herself out there and signed up for auditions to get more experience acting.

The move itself to the west coast was a big change from small town Saskatchewan, but Bley received a lot of encouragement from back home in the form of Ricky Block.

“He was like, ‘you can actually do this.’ He was my first drama teacher and I got 100 per cent in his class. That was the best part of my life at that moment.”

Block, as well as some of Bley’s singing teachers knew that Bley was going to go somewhere and, therefore, she knew it too.

Right now, Bley’s life includes auditions and taking acting classes in the evenings to improve on her skills and hopes to land a television or movie role.

A lot of it is tricking your brain, says Bley, with a lot of working going into hitting the right emotions.

However, her day job is also pretty amazing  with Bley working as a part-time princess in between commercial roles going to birthday parties and children’s hospitals.

While it can be a sad moment, Bley also sees the children light up when she comes in the door dressed as Anna, Snow White, Aerial, or Rapunzel.

“You feel bad to leave,” she says, but she knows how much it means to the kids.

“I remember when my grandma was in the hospital. When we came in it was the best moment of her day. Just to see the kids light up, they’re so sick but they’re so happy.”

Eventually, Bley would like to move to Los Angeles but that is a ways down the road yet while she works on her resume.

Applying for Visas to work in the United States, Bley says she will have to prove she is going to be working there.
