Shake, Rattle and Roll

Community support for Parkinson’s

After a community pancake breakfast, some of the people in the area who live with the disease lined up to cut the ribbon to officially open the ride.

It was a beautiful day and there was a great turnout for the second annual Shake Rattle and Roll Motorcycle Rally for Parkinson’s Disease in St. Gregor on June 23. A total of 76 motorcycles took part in the rally, which raised over $20,000 for the Parkinson’s Society of Saskatchewan. Due to this year’s success, the date for next year’s rally has already been set — June 22, 2013.
